Battle Cannon Spider

I finished this guy just this afternoon, sooner than expected. First of his kind. All the pieces and parts were modeled separately in Wings, and then imported into Bryce. I think he came out pretty well in the finished product; after all, I jumped into the project without any plans or designs, working off the top of my head most of the time. I might have changed a few minor details, but I don't feel like messing around with it now. No references were used either--all in my noggin'.

I'm thinking about another spider. Steampunk maybe? I can kick it old school with a cast iron exterior and a couple of cannons .
